I have not had the time for gardening lately, what with the rain and my being busy. How ever Mum was very kind to send through this photo of her orchid out in flower. Aren't they just about the prettiest and most amazing species!
Orchids are among my most favored plants. However, they are the one species that I cannot seem to manage to maintain. I used to buy one every 3-4 months just to have in the kitchen for my own amusement until it would die... then I decided that was just not fair and moved to african violets; which seem easier to maintain for me.
Just stopping by after a couple weeks of not being here (sorry). Your flower shots are really good. I especially like the water droplets. You need to lend me some green thumbness. : )

Love the frilly purple bits down there at the bottom. And that golden yellow on the rest, wow...I could look at it for days.
